Unclaimed property reports must be reported electronically. Send your report using either of these methods.
The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA) has created a standardized format for unclaimed property reports.
You can use our Unclaimed Property Reporting Software (UPRS) or any third party software that can generate the NAUPA II format.

Your report will be rejected if it is not properly formatted.
You must submit a corrected report within 30 days or you will be subject to a daily penalty.
This free software is only available for Windows. Minimum memory requirements are 64 MB RAM and 60 MB of hard drive space.
The software should be installed locally, not on a network.
The data from reports in version 5.3 will automatically migrate to the new version.
If you are using a previous 4 version, your data will not migrate into the 6.0 version. You must install version 5.3 first and launch it to start the migration. After this migration you can download version 6.0 to complete the process.
Reports for most holders are due between March 2 and July 1 each year, and must include the abandoned property. The state does not have the statutory authority to grant extensions on the report or payment submissions.
