Texas Smartbuy Member Travel Eligibility

An officer or employee conducting official business that participate in the Texas Smartbuy Membership Program are permitted to use the statewide travel contracts developed by the Statewide Procurement Division (SPD) through the Texas Gov. Code § 2171.055.

Non Texas Smartbuy members are required to request and receive membership to access the State Travel Contracts. Membership is $100 per year and provides access to all SPD contracts. Learn more about the Texas Smartbuy Membership, including how to join.

Existing Texas Smartbuy Members are able to access the State Travel Contracts at NO ADDITIONAL COST.

Travel Contracts

To use the travel contracts secured by the STMP, an entity will need to provide the 3 or 5-digit number that the travel suppliers require for participation. For Texas Smartbuy Members, this is the 5-digit, alphanumeric, agency number assigned to your entity. Information and provisions for the State travel contracts are located through the links below.
