Holder Reporting Software

The Comptroller's office provides free software for holders filing their unclaimed property reports electronically. The software requires at least a 166Mhz (300Mhz recommended) IBM compatible PC running Windows - NT, XP, 2000, 2003, Vista and 7. Minimum memory requirements are 64 MB RAM and 60 MB of hard drive space.

Download version 5.3 of the software to your local disk (C:) drive. Please read all notes below before beginning the process. The program software should not be installed on a network and we recommend you close all Windows applications before your begin. Once the download is complete, double-click on the desktop icon UPRS5 and follow the screen prompts to complete the installation.

  • If you have previous reports in version 4.1, your data will automatically migrate to the new software the first time you open the application.
  • If you are using version 4.0, your data will not migrate directly into version 5.3. You must install version 4.1 first and open it to start the migration. Then you can download version 5.3.
