Voluntary Disclosure Agreements (VDA)

Holders of unclaimed property, who must report to Texas and meet the criteria, can enter into a VDA with the Comptroller.

A company representative or authorized employee can initiate the process, without naming the company if they choose, by contacting the Unclaimed Property Division in writing at:

Required Plug-ins:

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
