This database does not show properties with a cash value of less than $25. However, properties of all amounts are available to claim. If you believe the Unclaimed Property Division is holding your property and your name does not appear in this search, you may contact us or use our Search Request Form for a complete Texas Unclaimed Property search.

Start Your Search

  1. Open the Unclaimed Property Search tool.
  2. Enter your name and any Texas cities you have lived in.
  3. View the listings. If any listing matches your name and address, check the box.
  4. View listing details. If it belongs to you, check the box and select your relationship.
  5. Enter the required information. You can download your claim form or have it mailed to you.
  6. Provide the required documentation and mail the claim form to the provided address.

Note: Blank claim forms are not available on comptroller.texas.gov. You can only get a claim form from inside the Unclaimed Property application.

Remember to search often. New listings are added frequently, so don’t give up the search.
