    Air Force ROTC scholarships help relieve the financial burden of
    college expenses.  Scholarships cover tuition and most lab fees.
    Scholarships also provide an annual textbook allowance and up to
    $500 spending cash monthly stipend.

    General and Academic Requirements:
     - Be a U.S. citizen or able to obtain citizenship (see website)
     - Graduate from a high school or have an equivalent certification
     - Be 17 years old prior to scholarship activation
     - Be under 31 years old as of December 31, the year of commission
     - Are not enrolled full-time at a college or university, except for
         joint high school/college programs
     - Achieve an SAT composite score of 1240 (CR+M) or ACT composite of 26
     - Attain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
     - Pass the Physical Fitness Assessment and submit certification letter

    Eligible applicants are contacted to set up a personal scholarship
    interview.  If a student accepts an awarded scholarship, they become
    obligated and agree to specific service requirements of the U.S. Air
