    Shop Texas Electricity is proud to offer two $1,000 scholarships 
    to recognize two qualified scholars for their achievements.

    - Must be a resident of Texas
    - Must be a current high school senior planning to attend an
      accredited two-or-four-year college degree program in a STEM
      (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field.  
    - Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
    - Official or unofficial copy of transcript
    - Submit an online application along with an original 400-500 word 
      essay on the following topic: "Pick an experience from your own life
      and explain how it has influenced your development".

    Deadline: April 30
    Winners notified May 31
