HUB_NAME.DAT File Format Information

This document describes the layout and contents of the flat ASCII file called HUB_NAME.DAT, which contains a list of vendors who have been a Texas certified 
HUB (i.e., HUB status code “A”) for at least one day during the current fiscal year. For the purposes of producing the HUB Reports, payments that are awarded 
during the current fiscal year to the Vendor ID Numbers contained within this file will be counted as HUB expenditures.

	HUB ELIGIBILITY          2 CHARACTERS
	                            AI = Native American;
	                            AS = Asian-Pacific American; 
	                            BL = Black American;
	                            HI = Hispanic American; 
	                            WO = American Woman, which includes all women of any ethnicity not specified above; and
	                            DV = Service Disabled Veteran, as defined by 38 United States Code (U.S.C.), Section 101(2) who have a service-connected 
	                                 disability as defined by 38 U.S.C. Section 101(16), and have a disability rating of 20 percent or more as determined 
	                                 by the Department of Veterans Affairs or the Department of Defense. DV does not include women or any individuals who 
	                                 are members of any of the HUB eligible groups (i.e., AI, AS, BL or HI) specified above.

	                             Y = Yes; denotes that HUB eligible person having majority ownership interest in the business meets the definition of 
	                                 a Service Disabled Veteran.
	                             N = No; denotes that HUB eligible person having majority ownership interest in the business does not meet the 
	                                 definition of a Service Disabled Veteran.
	                   Blank Space = Unknown; denotes that the firm was certified prior to Sept. 1, 2013, and therefore the applicant has not provided 
	                                 relevant information by which the HUB Program can determine whether the HUB eligible person having majority 
	                                 ownership interest in the business meets the definition of a Service Disabled Veteran.
