My Career as a Nurse

Waylon | future nurse

When I get out of High School I will go to college to get my Nursing degree for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). It will take two years to get my LVN. I am going to get a job as an LVN. I will take night classes to become a Registered Nurse (RN). It will take me another two years of college to become an RN. The yearly salary of an RN is $70,000.

I want to become a nurse because I like helping people. As a nurse I will give medicine to the patient to make them feel better. I can also save someone's life. I also want to become a nurse because I want to live in a small town. Even small towns need nurses.

In the future I think there will be nurses because there will always be people who are hurt or injured.

Every time I go to the doctor's office I talk with nurses who treat me. I ask them what kind of Nurse are you? Then I ask how many years did you have to go to college? That's how I learned how many classes I have to take. I can't remember all of the nurses I've talked to, because I've wanted to be a nurse since 3rd grade, and I've talked to a lot of different nurses over the years.
