Admission Requirements

  • Submission of online application via www.applytexas.org
  • Official high school transcript denoting graduation plan
  • Official college transcript, for any dual credit courses taken
  • SAT or ACT scores not required for admission (SAT code 5999) (ACT code 6366)
  • Personal written statement or essay
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Resumè of activities and achievements
  • Once admitted, $100 enrollment fee is due, which may be reimbursed by Financial Aid resources

Admission Based on Class Rank

  • Rank: Top 30%
  • SAT/ACT: No minimum score or test submission required

Admission Based on Unweighted 4.0 GPA

  • GPA 3.0-4.0; No minimum SAT or ACT score or test submission
  • GPA 2.0-2.99; SAT of 1020 or ACT of 20. If no test scores are submitted admission will be determined by holistic review.
  • GPA of 2.0 or less; No minimum SAT or ACT score or test submission required. Admission is based on holistic review.

Students not meeting automatic admissions requirements, not able to take the SAT/ACT, or attending schools that do not rank, will be evaluated holistically by an admissions committee. Holistic review criteria are listed on website
