Search Datasets

The Comptroller’s Data Center presents data from a variety of sources and provides it to the public in raw, machine-readable, platform-independent datasets.

You can use our new Texas Comptroller's Secure Information and File Transfer (SIFT) system tool to download some secured datasets, such as Unclaimed Property and Hotel Tax Receipts.

We have transferred all of our files to Texas' official Open Data Portal, which includes the following datasets:

The Texas Open Data Portal also has additional Comptroller datasets that can be easily accessed, reviewed and downloaded.

HB855 Browser Statement

In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Apple Safari.
