Add Vending Machine

Vending machines must be in a commercial business location.

If you do not own the vending machine, please contact the Comptroller’s office to supply the machine owner’s name and mailing address.

Machine Inventory Number
This is a number that the applicant generates. It must be a four digit number.

If you intend to sell or store cigarettes other than through the vending machine, it must be done at a permitted commercial business location.

If you plan to keep records at same location as your vending machine, the location must be a commercial business location.

Placed in service date
the date upon which the machine is first displayed for retail sales of cigarettes, cigars and/ or tobacco products. This date cannot be more than 90 days in the future or fall before the sales tax start date. If your start date is before the current date, you must contact our offices.
