Texas SmartBuy Membership Benefits Webinar Series

The Statewide Procurement Division invites school districts and public charter school purchasing staff and employees to attend our upcoming webinar series on the benefits of the Texas SmartBuy Membership Program.

The program is the Texas-trusted purchasing partner for local government and state-funded assistance organizations. As a service of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, the state purchasing cooperative promotes best-value procurements at the local level.

Texas SmartBuy members will learn to purchase from a variety of state term contracts, TXMAS contracts, purchase and fuel cards, and travel contracts — all backed by the buying power of Texas. Join us to explore contract details, best practices and key procurement resources.

Intro to Texas SmartBuy Contracts

The Statewide Procurement Division (SPD) develops statewide contracts for non-IT commodities and services to streamline purchasing for state agencies, institutions of higher education and other state government entities. Texas SmartBuy members can take advantage of the statewide term and managed contracts developed by SPD, and the TXMAS contracts awarded from federal GSA and national purchasing cooperatives' contracts. Join us to receive an overview of Texas SmartBuy contracts, including how they are developed and managed.
