It’s easy and convenient to file reports and make payments with Webfile, the Comptroller’s online tax filing system. Yet when it comes to customer service, it’s not enough for us to stop there.
As part of our agency’s commitment to deliver excellent customer service, we are continually embracing opportunities to improve the efficiency of our services and exceed customer satisfaction.
Those changes don’t have to be big to be helpful. We’ve recently made some small updates to Webfile to make it faster and more convenient to find what you need.
You’ll notice several changes right away, starting with the eSystems login screen.
After logging in with your user ID and password, you’ll see a refreshed dashboard boasting several enhancements.
1. Notification Carousel – This hub at the top of the page connects you to taxpayer resources, the latest Webfile news, alerts and other announcements you won’t want to miss.
2. List view – We streamlined the My Taxpayer Accounts table by retiring the card view and replacing it with a list view that displays the tax types assigned to your profile. While you can no longer see buttons that prompt you to “File and Pay,” the functionality is the same. Select the individual tax accounts to file, pay or access other self-service options.
3. Filter – New filter capabilities expedite finding and accessing accounts, saving time spent in the system and getting you on your way.
4.Export – Once you’ve filtered and organized your tax accounts, your selections are preserved in an exportable .csv file.
5.Search eSystems Services – This new search feature quickly connects you to a range of online services offered by the Comptroller’s office, such as permit applications, document requests and lookup tools.
The modernized Webfile interface now extends to certain Franchise Tax service options, with more updates to come.
