A one-time scholarship of $500 will be awarded based on the following requirements:

• Student must be a high school senior planning on attending a two or four-year college degree program in the U.S. in the Fall
• Minimum of 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Resident of Texas, Ohio or Connecticut
• Submission of Essay: "How do you bring positive energy into your community to make a difference in the lives of others?"

Award selection will be based on academic performance (25%), quality and/or content of essay submission (25%), and demonstrated community impact (50%)
