AlamoPROMISE is designed for recent eligible graduating high school Seniors in Bexar County to attend one (1) of the five (5) Alamo Colleges tuition-free.

Tuition and required fees are fully covered by a combination of financial aid grants and/or scholarships for the completion of an associate degree or up to three (3) consecutive years. AlamoPROMISE is open to students recently graduating from public, private, charter, and home school high school programs in Bexar County.

Student Must: Graduate from high school in Bexar County and/or live in Bexar County Be eligible to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) Enroll in the Fall semester immediately after graduation

Students are encouraged to submit their admission and financial Aid applications before the Priority Date of February 28 to be guaranteed review for AlamoPROMISE eligibility. Applications received after that date is considered as space is available.

All Promise Scholars have access to resources designed to support their Success such as laptop and textbooks rentals, as well as free bus passes. Additionally, students may access personalized academic advising, job and career guidance, food support, clothing, childcare, utility and housing assistance, and mental health counseling services.
