DIRECT SUBSIDIZED LOAN This is a loan and must be repaid. Available for undergraduate students enrolled at least half-time. Must demonstrate financial need. The U.S. Department of Education is the lender and pays interest on the loan while you are in school at least half-time and during deferment periods.
