Description

The Conditional Grant Program is available to eligible full-time students pursuing a degree in civil engineering or a department approved operational discipline at Texas public and private four-year institutions.

To qualify, the student must be economically disadvantaged and agree to work for TxDOT for two years immediately following graduation. Students must be a Texas resident and eligible to work in the U.S. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Students already enrolled in an undergraduate program are eligible if they meet income and other requirements.

Students accepted into the program receive up to $5,000 per semester or $10,000 per academic year, based on financial need.
