To provide part-time jobs to eligible students with financial need to enable them to attend public and private, non-profit colleges or universities in Texas. Applicants must:

• Be Texas residents
• Show financial need
• Register for the Selective Service, unless exempt
• Enroll at least half time
• Not be a recipient of any form of athletic scholarship during the semester(s) he or she is receiving a TCWS award; and
• Not be enrolled in a seminary or other program leading to ordination or licensure to preach for a religious sect or to be a member of a religious order.

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Contact the financial aid office of the Texas college or university you plan to attend for additional instructions or visit the website.
