Admission Requirements

• Consideration for freshman admission to Houston Baptist University is determined by a strong high school performance, indicated by:
• Graduating in the top 50% of senior class
• SAT score of 1070 or greater; OR ACT composite score of 21

• Upon meeting the minimum high school curriculum requirements the following should be submitted to the Office of Admissions:
• Application for Admission
• Official high school transcript or official GED scores, mailed directly to Houston Baptist University from issuing institution
• Official SAT or ACT test scores
• Recommendation Letter (optional)

• Applicants not meeting admission requirements will go to the Academic
• Review Board for an admissions decision.
