Rural Ambulance Service Grants Program
House Bill 3000
House Bill (HB) 3000 establishes a grant program designed to strengthen ground ambulance services in rural communities. Through this program, eligible rural counties may receive funding to purchase ambulances, along with required equipment, accessories and vehicle modifications.
For implementation of the program, eligible counties were able to apply for grant funds in January 2026, regardless of the county’s fiscal start date.
As of June 1, 2026, the Comptroller’s office has awarded 58 grants totaling $24,950,000 million for fiscal 2026.
