Admission Requirements

• Completed application for admission
• Submit $42 non-refundable application fee, online
• Official high school transcript
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
• Official ACT Composite score of 17 or higher; or official
• SAT score of 900 (Evidence-Based Reading + Writing total score, taken after March 2016)

• NOTE: As a result of COVID-19, first time incoming freshmen in the top 25% of their graduating class, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, will be automatically admitted.
• Additionally, these students will not need to present ACT or SAT scores as part of the admissions process.
• The TSI placement exam will still be required.

• Undocumented high school students must have a diploma or GED from a public or private high school in the State of Texas, and:
• must have resided in Texas at least three consecutive years before date of graduation or receipt of GED must sign an Affidavit of Intent to file an application to become a permanent resident at their earliest opportunity
