    The Slough Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships of up to
    $5,000 per year ($2,500 per semester, fall & spring only) for a 
    total of five years or the completion of a Bachelor's Degree or a
    total accumulation of 136 semester hours, whichever comes first. 
    Smaller amounts may be awarded on a one-time basis with no guarantee
    of future awards.

    Required Eligibility Criteria:
    -Must be a U.S. citizen and Texas resident at the time of application
    -Graduate of a Texas High School
    -Copy of official ACT/SAT scores
    -Must complete a FAFSA to demonstrate financial need
    -Must submit an original essay (see website for specifics)
    -Must submit high school GPA converted to 100-point scale (see website)
    -Only completed applications submitted online and all required 
        documents postmarked by April 1 will be accepted.
    -Must not have exceeded more than 112 semester college hours
