Admission Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or GED
  • Students graduating in the top 10% of their class from a Texas public high school will be considered for admission if all required documents and test scores have been submitted.
  • All other applicants must meet the following requirements:

Students submitting minimum TAKS scores of 2200 in Math, 2200 in English Language Arts and 3 in Writing will be considered for admission. Accuplacer exam scores are also accepted and will be considered. Provisional admission is possible for Texas residents who do not meet the regular entrance requirements. Application Deadlines for Admission - Priority Deadline Dates:
  • Fall - May 1
  • Spring - October 1
  • Summer - March 1
