• Admission is competitive and based on academic performance in the classroom, extra-curricular activities, required essay (may submit a graded paper), transcript and test scores.
• Letters of recommendation are optional, but encouraged.

• Tests: SAT or ACT (test-optional; see below)
• TLU allows students to apply for admission as test-optional applicants. Students who choose to apply test-optional are not required to submit SAT or ACT test scores to complete their application files. Students must select this option on the admissions application.
