    To receive a TEACH Grant, you agree to teach a highly needed subject
    in a low-income area where there is a shortage of specific subject
    teachers in an elementary or secondary school.  When teaching you
    are paid just as you would without the TEACH Grant. 

    This is a Grant and does not have to be repaid UNLESS you fail to
    carry out the service obligation of teaching at least four years within
    eight years after completing (or cease enrollment in) the course of 
    study for which the candidate received a grant.  Available for under-
    graduate, post baccalaureate and graduate students.
