Admission Requirements

• $25 non-refundable application fee
• High School Transcripts
• Automatic Acceptance: Top 10% of graduating class; GPA, SAT

• Freshman students at UHV qualify for assured admissions if they meet ONE of the three following criteria:
• 2.5 unweighted GPA or higher on a 4.0 GPA Scale
• SAT/ACT minimum scores:
• -SAT Minimum score: 980
• -ACT Minimum score: 19
• Rank in the Top 50%of high school graduating class

• Freshman students at UHV qualify for admissions with requirements if they meet ONE of the three following criteria:
• 2.0-2.49 unweighted GPA or higher on a 4.0 GPA Scale.
• SAT/ACT minimum scores:
• -SAT Minimum Score 940
• -ACT Minimum Score:18
• Students admitted with requirements will be required to develop and follow a success plan designed with their Student Success Coach with weekly follow-up.

On-Campus Housing

Available The University of Houston-Victoria officially changed its name to Texas A&M University-Victoria. Through legislation signed by Governor Greg Abbott, governance of the Victoria campus was fully transferred from the University of Houston System to the Texas A&M University System.
