EMPLOYEE AWARENESS PLAN

To support energy efficiencies at this location, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs has partnered with the Texas Facilities Commission in order to implement cost saving devices where applicable, including water usage. We encourage employees to recycle, turn off lights, computers and office equipment when leaving offices. We continue to ensure heating and air condition vents are not blocked and report water leaks immediately.

Use high-efficiency, light-emitting diode (LED) exit signs. Replace inefficient exit signs with high-efficiency LED exit signs. LED exit signs operate 24/7, and their extended life means lower maintenance costs.
