**PLEASE NOTE: S.B.2361 is in its final stages, thus when signed by The Governor the bill becomes law, the University of Houston-Victoria will transition to The University of Texas A&M-Victoria on September 2, 2025.

Admission Requirements

• $25 non-refundable application fee
• High School Transcripts
• Automatic Acceptance: Top 10% of graduating class; GPA, SAT

Freshman students at UHV qualify for assured admissions if they meet ONE of the three following criteria:

• 2.5 unweighted GPA or higher on a 4.0 GPA Scale
• SAT/ACT minimum scores:
  • SAT Minimum score: 980
  • ACT Minimum score: 19
• Rank in the Top 50%of high school graduating class

Freshman students at UHV qualify for admissions with requirements if they meet ONE of the three following criteria:

• 2.0-2.49 unweighted GPA or higher on a 4.0 GPA Scale.
• SAT/ACT minimum scores:
  • SAT Minimum Score 940
  • ACT Minimum Score:18
• Students admitted with requirements will be required to develop and follow a success plan designed with their Student Success Coach with weekly follow-up.
