Admission Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited high school or GED
  • Official high school transcript showing cumulative GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Personal statement (1-2 pages) explaining why you want to attend the University of St. Thomas, what you wish to study and why you will be successful.
  • Tests: one of the following
    • ACT Minimum Composite score of 23 (School Code 4238)
    • SAT Minimum Combined score of 1140 (School Code 6880)

Student has the option to apply without using SAT/ACT scores provided the following requirements are met:

  • 3.4 GPA indicated on official transcript
  • Interview with Admissions Counselor
  • Submission of essay answering the question, "why SAT/ACT scores are not reflective of academic ability"
