Admission Requirements

  • Submit online application via www.applytexas.org or Common App
  • Submit $75 application fee or fee waiver
  • Official high school transcript denoting graduation plan,
  • class rank and GPA. GED Certification also accepted.
  • (see website for more information, if you attended a high
  • school that does not rank students or if home schooled)
  • Official college transcripts for any dual credit hours earned
  • One essay submitted with online application (topic on website)
  • SAT and/or ACT (not required for Fall admission, but encouraged
  • Resumè of achievements (optional, but strongly recommended)
  • Letter(s) of recommendation, up to two (optional)
  • Three short answer prompts to be submitted with application
  • Any major-specific documents as required by your selected major
  • Coursework exception form, if applicable

Students who rank in the top 6% of their graduating class from an accredited Texas high school will be automatically admitted upon completion and submission of all required documents.
