Cigarette, E-cigarette and Tobacco Products Retail Renewals

Retailers

Retailer permits expire the last day of May of each even-numbered year. Pre-printed renewal packets are mailed to the taxpayer's mailing address each even-numbered year.

How to Access Online Permit Renewals

  1. Log into Webfile esystems with your used ID and password, or create a new profile.
  2. Locate "My Cigarette, Cigar, Tobacco and/or E-Cigarette Accounts."
  3. Select the Retail or E-cigarette retail renewal line item for the respective business from the list.
    • If you do not have "My Cigarette, Cigar, Tobacco and/or E-Cigarette Accounts" available, or do not see the correct business/ entity listed, follow the steps below to gain access:
  4. Locate "eSystems Services."
  5. Select cigarette, cigar, tobacco and/or e-cigarette services.
  6. Locate the option "Assign taxes/fees", and select proceed.
  7. Enter the taxpayer ID number and click continue.
  8. Enter the unique Webfile number and click continue.
    • The Webfile number is pre-printed in the top left corner of your renewal document, denoted RT######. If you are unable to locate your Webfile number, please contact the Electronic Reporting Section at 800-531-5441 ext. 33630 for assistance.
  9. Review the disclaimer, check the "I agree" box, and select continue.
  10. See step 2 continue with the permit renewal.
  11. If applicable, repeat this process for your E-cigarette/ Retail Tobacco permit as well.
