Local Government Debt Reporting Submission Form

Debt Obligation Reporting under Local Government Code, Section 140.008

Starting on September 1, 2019, special purpose districts, as described by Government Code §403.0241(b), that annually submit the Special Purpose District Financial and Tax Report to the Comptroller no longer have to submit this report. (See House Bill 3001 and Local Government Code §140.008.)

You may fulfill HB 1378 requirements by using the form below to submit the Annual Local Debt Report Form (XLSX) OR a web link to your political subdivisions' local debt information.

Note that the Comptroller will not be editing or evaluating submissions and that uploaded documents and web links will be posted as-is.

The entity is encouraged, however, to participate by submitting a direct link to the posted information.
