Members of the Legislative Budget Board
Ladies and Gentlemen:
We are pleased to announce the publication of Texas State Expenditures by County 2010. Our office reports the state’s expenditures by county for the previous fiscal year on an annual basis. This report helps more than 200 state agencies with required electronic reporting of state expenditures by county under Government Code, Chapter 2054.126 (d) Posting of Information on the Internet.
Texas State Expenditures by County 2010 shows where state dollars are spent. The report lists state expenditures by agency and type of expenditure in each county and for the 24 council of governments regions. The introduction explains the estimation method and lists the major categories of expenditures.
This report was created using information from the state’s Uniform Statewide Accounting System. It reflects actual net expenditures of funds from accounts held in the State Treasury during the state’s 2010 fiscal year, Sept. 1, 2009, through Aug. 31, 2010. For certain expenditures, the Comptroller’s office used information provided by individual state agencies to estimate their distribution to the counties.
You may access the report online at Expenditures by County.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Apple Safari.
