Samsung intends to invest $17B in land, buildings, equipment, and other business property, this will promote economic development and commercial activities by creating up to 1,800 Full-Time Equivalent jobs (FTE), increase County’s Tax Revenue, and improve the County’s ability to provide health, safety and welfare to its citizens. County agrees to reimburse 90% of the Ad Valorem Taxes on real property and improvements and personal property for the 1st 10 years; if renewed, County agrees to reimburse 85% of the Ad Valorem Taxes for the next 10 years.
