My Career in Fashion Design

Jazmine | future designer

I would like to have a career in the Fashion Design Industry. I've always had a "passion for fashion" ever since I started dressing myself, fashion is like my sixth sense; it just comes naturally, like I don't even have to think about it. I grew up with fashionable people all around me. These people set a standard for me to follow and to learn from. Other things that helped me understand fashion designs, such as my Barbie dolls as a little girl, and the dressing up like fashion models also gave me the incentives and desires for fashions.

The types of education for this career would be attending an accredited art college, and gaining the opportunities to grow within the industry. This future includes earning a reasonable salary and creating growth for myself, and allowing opportunities to help others to achieve their goals as well. Creating fashion is an art form that I believe in, and understand with having a creative passion to reach my dreams! This career would help me improve my taste in clothing and share my artful talents in a constant growing industry.

One of the many steps I took to research about this career was searching websites concerning the fashion industry. One certain website (www.fitnyc.edu) The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, was very helpful in delivering ideas for future education. Other educators such as (www.artinstitutes.edu) The Art Institute of Dallas and (www.newschool.edu) Parsons The New School for Design in Paris France also have great leadership and qualities within their learning design.
