Why I Want to Be a Software Designer

Colby | future software designer

I want to become a software designer because I'm interested in computers and video games. I've always loved technology and have been interested in the way it works, so becoming a software designer would be the perfect job for me.

There are steps to take to be qualified as a software designer. I've started taking those steps by going to a magnet school and taking advanced technology classes. The future steps I'm going to take are to go to more specialized programs and classes. Also, I will go to a college that is top ranked in computer science, like the University of Texas.

Once I take the steps to becoming a software designer, I plan to find a job where I can use my new programming skills. I would like to work in a place where I can code and create new software, like Google or Microsoft. According to Google's job site, they are looking for new and innovative employees to help improve the internet.

Since last year, I have learned more about software design like how to code. I used a website called CodeHS to learn the basics of coding. I am trying to learn more about coding this year, too.

In conclusion, I want to become a software designer by taking the right steps. I will go to special programs and classes to learn more about technology. I also will try to go to the best college so I can have my dream job of being a software designer!
