Engineering here I come

Kevin | future civil engineer

When I was younger I always dreamed of becoming dumb things, like super heroes, power rangers or even Bob the builder. But it wasn't until my eighth birthday when I knew I wanted to be an engineer when I grow up.

For my eighth birthday my parents got me a Lego City building set, from the moment I opened the box I began building the city. After I was finished with it I was determined to become an engineer because of all the fun it is to build buildings.

I think that engineering is one of the best and most fun careers out there. Not only is it fun to build things, but with all the new technology in the modern world; I can build new and really cool looking never before seen buildings.

Becoming an engineer is not easy, I will have to study and work hard to get to college. But once I get to college, the journey still isn't over. I have to get Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

In conclusion, winning this scholarship would really help my family and I get me to college and help me get to my dream career, engineering.
