Isaiah | future professional hockey player

My name is Isaiah. When I grow up I would like to be a hockey player. I love playing hockey. I started skate lessons when I was five and played my first half ice game when I was six. I play on a travel team now. My team came in third place during the playoffs last year.

Hockey is my favorite sport, and I hope to play at a high level, like in the NHL. My favorite NHL team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. My two favorite players are Evgeni Malkin and Tyler Seguin. I like them because they are good goal scorers and do crazy moves, which we call "dangles" in hockey.

My travel team coaches teach me good skills. During the summer in off season they have me to a stick handling circuit. We also do dry land workouts for conditioning and strength. I also go to a Dallas Stars camp every summer. I will need to continue to practice hard to make it into the NHL.

I will continue to play hockey and try out for Junior level hockey when I am old enough. Once I play Junior hockey, I hope to get picked up by a Division I college team. These schools produce the most NHL players. I would also like to play for Team USA in the Olympics and win the gold medal!
