Political Subdivision Disbursement Reporting

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) is working alongside the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company (TTSTC) to ensure timely and efficient transfer of funds from the Opioid Abatement Trust Fund to political subdivisions in accordance with state law.

TTSTC made its first disbursement of $47.1 million to political subdivisions from the Opioid Abatement Trust Fund in March 2023.

The OAFC has developed a dashboard tool that enables cities and counties to track the disbursements of settlement payments. This tool allows cities and counties throughout Texas to monitor allocation and utilization of funds.

The table below reflects the disbursement amounts made available to each city and county.

The Download file contains all the data. Enter search term 'city' or 'county' in the search box to filter the data by Entity Type.

Search Tips
  • Searches are not case sensitive; all letters are handled as lower case.
  • Partial words may be used. For example, to search for "John Smith," use one of these options:
    • joh*
    • smi*
  • You can sort the table below by clicking on any of the headers. Sort multiple columns simultaneously by holding down the Shift key and clicking a second, third or even fourth column header.
