2024 Naloxone Distribution Grant

In August 2024, the Opioid Abatement Fund Council (OAFC) voted to award University Health in Bexar County a grant of up to $25 million to implement a statewide program that distributes opioid overdose reversal medication and provides related training, including airway clearance techniques. The grant agreement is for an initial two-year term with optional renewals. View our official press release.
