The Opioid Abatement Fund Council (OAFC or Council) has established a process to respond to and collaborate with local and statewide entities who are working to address the opioid epidemic. The information below illustrates how the OAFC is engaging with communities and describes how individuals and organizations may participate.
To learn more about the OAFC or provide input related to your community’s unique needs, please take advantage of these engagement opportunities. Your insight is essential in informing the work of the Council and its efforts to address opioid-related harms in the community using the statewide opioid settlement dollars.
These roundtables are geared toward community-based organizations, local government entities, health providers, law enforcement, and other entities seeking opportunities to address the opioid epidemic across the state. These meetings are held virtually on a quarterly basis.
Our OAFC Spring Roundtable will be held on March 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. CST via Microsoft Teams. (Meeting ID: 262 454 135 908; Passcode: 3AJ7Vs7D)
The OAFC’s monthly newsletter, the Abatement Advisor, shares OAFC activities and upcoming opportunities. Please sign up for our GovDelivery listserv to receive this newsletter along with other OAFC updates.
