The Opioid Abatement Fund Council (OAFC) aims to expand the recovery peer support specialist workforce in Texas by providing up to $10 million in grant funds.
OAFC required proposed projects to include a needs assessment and a design for implementing strategies that will increase the number of individuals in the peer-to-peer workforce.
Applications are currently closed. Deadline for submitting a grant application was Feb. 11, 2025.
