Texas' Ports of EntryEconomic Impact 2024

Texas’ Ports of Entry accounted for more than $1 trillion in international trade in 2024. Texas has 32 official ports of entry that serve as critical gateways to global trade. A sampling of these ports and their economic impacts are featured here. Each port — whether an airport, land port or seaport — serves many domestic and international economic activities across multiple industries. Each Texas port is unique and plays a distinctive role in the state’s global trade market and transportation network and contributes to the global, state, and local economies.
