Each year, students submit original research in critically important scientific fields of study and are judged by leading experts in their fields. The top 300 entries are recognized as the top young scientists in the U.S., and they and their schools receive prizes of $2,000 each. The top 40 Regeneron Science Talent Search finalists are invited to Washington, D.C., to attend a weeklong celebration of science, meet with lawmakers and leaders, and compete for the top honor of $250,000. Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF) is a program of Society for Science and the Public (SSP). It is the world's largest international pre-college science competition. Approximately 1,800 high school students from more than 75 countries, regions and territories are awarded the opportunity to showcase their independent research and compete for approximately $5 million in prizes.
