You will also be charged a standby fee of $53.00 in addition to the regular fee for the test or tests you wish to take. Exception: Students taking Language Tests with Listening cannot test as standbys.

The SAT® online score report is available free to every student who takes the exam. All you need is a collegeboard.com account. You can still choose to receive your SAT® score report in the mail.

ACT Assessment Test

Some institutions in Texas award academic credit and advanced placement based on a student's performance on the ACT Assessment.

Both advanced placement and academic credit may be awarded to students based on their scores on three of the four ACT Assessment curricular areas: English, Mathematics, or Science. This is the same examination utilized in the admissions process. Depending upon the college or university, requirements of minimum scores, number of credit hours granted and other conditions may vary.
