TUITION EQUALIZATION GRANT (TEG)

    Available to eligible students with financial need, who are enrolled at 
    a private non-profit Texas college or university and are required to 
    pay more tuition than they would pay to attend a public institution.  

    Additional Eligibility requirements: 
    - Be classified by the institution as a Texas resident
    - Be enrolled at least 3/4 time in an eligible institution in Texas in
      a degree plan leading to a first associate, baccalaureate, master's 
      or doctoral degree (excluding degree plans that are intended to lead 
      to religious ministry)
    - Meet all academic program requirements
    - Have financial need, as determined by institution
    - May be required to pay more tuition than is required at a comparable 
       public institution
    - Be registered for Selective Service or be exempt

    For the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years, an eligible student may
    receive an award in the amount of $3,497 to $5,246 per year.

    Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and 
    contact the financial aid office at your college or university for more
