The first- year NPC Scholarship includes an additional $500 book stipend which honors the late Ellen Masin Persina. The competition is open to high school seniors, with a GPA of 3.0 or better, who are preparing to enter college and intend to become a journalist and who will bring diversity to US journalism. In 2015, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 855, which requires state agencies to publish a list of the three most commonly used Web browsers on their websites. The Texas Comptroller’s most commonly used Web browsers are Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Apple Safari.
