NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPALS (NASSP), NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP

    National Honor Society Scholarship - This scholarship is available
    to high school seniors who are NHS members in good standing.  Selection
    is based on outstanding scholarship, leadership, service and character.

    Prudential Spirit of Community Awards - In partnership with Prudential
    Financial, students in grades 5 - 12 are recognized for exemplary
    community service.  State honorees each receive $1,000, as well as an
    engraved silver medallion, plus an all-expenses-paid trip with one 
    parent or guardian to Washington, .C. for national recognition.  In
    addition, National honorees (America's Top Ten) will receive personal 
    awards of $5,000, a gold medallion, a crystal trophy for their school 
    or organization, and a $5,000 grant from The Prudential Foundation for 
    a non-profit, charitable organization of their choice.  Application 
    process opens in September.
