*** National Honor Society Scholarship - This scholarship is available to high school seniors who are NHS members in good standing. Selection is based on outstanding scholarship, leadership, service and character. Application process opens in October. State honorees each receive $1,000, as well as an engraved silver medallion, plus an all-expenses-paid trip with one parent or guardian to Washington, D.C. for national recognition. In addition, National honorees (America's Top Ten) will receive personal awards of $5,000, a gold medallion, a crystal trophy for their school or organization, and a $5,000 grant from The Prudential Foundation for a non-profit, charitable organization of their choice.
